What I do at L'OCCITANE EN PROVENCE
As the Head of Region for the South I am responsible for 23 stores including the financial and operational objectives. I support the strategic development and management of the retails stores as well as ensuring a high level of recruitment, training, and development across the region. I work collaboratively, across all channels to ensure the region achieves its sales budgets and delivers its key KPI's.
Retail is ever changing but I love the different challenges it brings each day!

Who am I?
I have been in retail from the age of 16. I have enjoyed developing my skills along the way climbing the ladder at every opportunity.
My career started at Matalan where I completed their internal management training program. This is where I fell in love with retail. I loved everything from operations, merchandising, customer service and team development. I've worked in many stores doing various roles before taking some time out to have my family.
I then joined the beauty industry; starting in fragrance. This gave me my first taster into a field role. I realised my team and their development is my biggest passion and that I love to see my team grow and reach their personal goals.
Wanting to grow and develop myself further, I then became Head of Region for L'Occitane. I was inspired to join L'Occitane because the brand is passionate about giving back whether that is their work with Unicef supporting incurable blindness in children or their work in protecting the planet. I feel like this is a brand where I can have a career, grow, and do amazing things that really can make a difference in the world.
